Lower Yellowstone Rural Electric Association, along with over 500 other electric cooperatives across the United States, have formed an alliance under the Touchstone Energy® brand to further strengthen our commitment to our members. Even though you still know us as LYREA, this nationwide alliance assures that all customers — large and small — continue to have the highest standards of personalized service at affordable rates. Why do co-ops need a unifying brand like Touchstone Energy®?

The electric utility industry is experiencing the effects of a number of legislative and regulatory actions on the state and federal level that are leading to a restructuring of many utility operations.
