About Us
Lower Yellowstone Rural Electric Association has been providing reliable, low-cost electricity since 1936. We focus on great service at the lowest possible cost to our members. LYREA is headquartered in Sidney, Montana. The cooperative serves almost 5,000 electrical meters and maintains 2,086 miles of power lines in Montana and North Dakota. Our consumers are our members who own the co-op. They elect the board members to represent them.
